“Another b*tching hour”

Films: The Craft: Legacy (2020)

Alias: Lily Schechner, Frankie, Tabby, and Lourdes

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Good

Summary: Back in the 90s, we got an impressive though somewhat clumsy story revolving around a quartet of girls getting in touch with their magical side, only for three out of four to become corrupt with power. Now, we see what happens when the group isn't quite as messed up...but a few others certainly are.

History: A group of friends wanted to indulge in the world of magic, but they needed a fourth member to complete the new coven. Luckily, a girl named Lily had moved in recently to almost immediately be called an outcast. With her surprisingly inherent magic to help them, they became an impressive coven. But then, someone they knew is murdered, and Lily is the top suspect. Oh shoot.

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: The killer is not Lily, but a mad middle-aged warlock named Adam, who's planning on taking her magic for his cult. However, the coven reunites just in time, and they work together with elemental magic to incinerate Adam. Not long afterwards, Lily visits an asylum to meet her real mother...none other than the original evil witch herself, Nancy Downs. Though judging by her looks, she's had a lot of time to think about her actions from before.

Powers/Abilities: Manipulation of reality.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 1.5-Unlike the last batch of young witches, this coven is a force of good through and through. If anything, it's that insane cultist Adam that we should be afraid of. But these girls? They're one of the few people who can kick the ass of evil with their powers AND goof around with them as well with little consequence.

Trivia: -According to director Zoe Lister-Jones, the reason Nancy (who, by the way, is played by her original actress, Fairuza Balk) had a daughter is because she was sexually assaulted before willfully committing herself to another asylum. What the actual hell?!

-A sequel for the original film has been in the works for years, but everything kept falling through. Even this film had its share of scrapped ideas, such as Lourdes' magical heritage being its own subplot.
